TIMBER FRAMED COTTAGE REFURBISHMENT

Originally this property was three individual cottages, two of which had been converted into one.  Our brief was to blend the third cottage into the existing, forming one property.  With careful consultation with Listed Buildings, we came up with a proposed layout, whilst maintaining the historic features of the existing cottages.

By centralising the kitchen within the three cottages and moving one staircase, oak repairs were carried out, including traditional green oak framing to stabilise the rear section of the house,

Within the grounds an oak framed building was renovated to create a music room/study, finished in oak weatherboarding to match.

All joinery was built in our own workshop, along with the kitchen, that was designed to compliment this charming property.
