COUNTRY HOUSE

This property was purchased by our client in need of modernisation.  We drew up  plans for a sympathetic two storey extension, increasing the property by approximately a third, creating a master bedroom, en-suite, double guest bedroom and feature landing with large drawing room below. 

The ground floor was extensively remodelled opening up the kitchen area forming a large kitchen with vaulted ceiling, dining room and study/tv room, creating a large living space for the whole family.

The kitchen was designed to maximise space and give it a light airy feel.  The bespoke kitchen and bathroom were designed by ourselves and produced in our own workshop.  The oak flooring was sourced from the West Country, cut in random board widths up to 14ins wide.  The existing staircase was adapted to suit the new upper floor areas.  All works were carried out to give the extension a seemless blend to the existing house, creating a country home with an authentic feel.
