NEW LOWER GROUND FLOOR

Our client had the idea of producing an underground extension as it was not possible to extend above ground.

The area extended to approximately 150sq m which was to incorporate a cinema room, games room and bar, washroom, utility room and gym area, linking between the main house and the garage block, enabling it to have a seperate entrance when entertaining.

We built the shell core construction from waterproof caltite concrete as this was the most cost effective method. 

All design work was carried out in-house, with close consultation with the client.  Joinery and fittings were designed and built within our own workshop.

The lighting system was designed, fully programmable, to set the mood for any occassion, at the touch of a button, with audio and visual touchscreen displays, wall mounted, for ease of use.  With soft furnishings and colour schemes chosen by our client, complimenting the contemporary design, creating not just a basement but a new lower ground floor.
